Dual-Layer EPDM Playground System
The installation process for the flooring involves two layers. The base layer, which serves as a cushion, ranges from 10 to 60 mm and is made of rubber crumbs (with a particle size of 1-3 mm). The top layer is a colorful coating of EPDM granules (particle size 1-4 mm) and is between 6 to 10 mm thick. The thickness of the flooring can vary and depends on the type of foundation beneath it (concrete/asphalt/crushed stone-gravel mixture), as well as the height of the playground equipment. Generally, the taller the playground structures, the thicker the base layer of protective flooring should be.
Customizable coating – create your unique style
This type of coating can be made in a variety of colors and designs (artistic patterns, thematic graphics, a combination of colors and patterns), and can be applied to curved and inclined surfaces. The colors are UV resistant.
